1988		Maharishi's Year of Achieving World Peace		On 12 January, Maharishi celebrates World Peace Day and inaugurates his Master Plan to Create Heaven on Earth through his Vedic Science and Technology. Maharishi Heaven on Earth Development Corporation is established in many countries to accomplish Maharishi's Master Plan to Create Heaven on Earth. Rise of the Global Maharishi Effect creates such an indomitable influence of harmony and peace that it melts the enmity of the superpowers and creates an atmosphere of friendliness throughout the world. Long awaited peace treaties between warring nations are signed, and the world press celebrates the 'dawn of world peace.'
